Alba – Sassy Saidi with Lorna

Lorna brings Cairo glamour to Scotland.

She is now based in Edinburgh but spent years working as a professional dancer in Cairo and now travels internationally teaching and performing.  We are delighted to have her with us for the first Alba Orientale.

Saidi is a traditional dance from Upper Egypt – Lorna loves saidi and always incorporated a saidi dance within her Cairo set.  Saidi dance is strong and proud.  Audiences cannot help clapping along.  Open level – Lorna will pitch this to the level of the participants – there will be something for everyone.

This is your chance to study Saidi with Lorna.
