In this masterclass, we will explore the art of integrating belly rolls and ground-based movements like laybacks and drops into your belly dance repertoire. You’ll learn to execute laybacks with control and grace, focusing on safe backbends that remain fluid and expressive. We will also refine drop techniques, emphasizing the strength, balance, and body awareness required for precise and controlled execution.
Delving into the queen of fluid movements—belly rolls & Flutters—we’ll uncover their dynamics, explore variations, and discover creative ways to incorporate them into your dance. The session will culminate in combining these elements into a snippet, accompanied by focused drills to solidify your technique.
