Straight from everyday life: Fellahi dances from the Nile Delta and Upper Egypt reflect the daily life of farmers – earthy, lively, and full of rhythm.
Typical are grounded steps, clear movements, and lots of energy. Not a show dance, but joy, community, and strength. This dance always brings good mood and works well on stage or in public performances for groups.
In this workshop, we focus on style, posture, and typical combinations. With the song “El Bamia (Okra) Shawaketni”, we experience the strong expressive power of a peasant woman.
