Kays personal anecdotes of Bellydance in Egypt. Kay spend 1 – 2 months a year running specialist trips for bellydancers and has lots of interesting stories to share.

Journey down the Nile – dance class – in the minor hall

Introduction to different traditional styles of dance in Egypt …. starting in Nubia, travelling to Upper Egypt, Port Said, Cairo and Alexandria……. a whirlwind tour. Each area is very different. Kay will teach a few steps from each region and use music from the regions too. No experience necessary. A great introduction.

Discover Bellydance at Cullercoats Festival with Kay Taylor

Kay will introduce you to a core of basic moves and put them to modern music. Current pop, Shaabi (street music) and Maharaganat (festival music). This will be fairly high energy ….. and great fun.
