Helwa need your help to practice and perfect their show in preparation for the Edinburgh Fringe. All proceeds will go towards Fringe costs and your support and encouragement will help ensure Helwa take Edinburgh by storm.
A captivating show suitable for all; encompassing a variety of dance styles, colourful costumes and entertaining narrative. From Luxor to Alexandria. From the glamorous cabaret to the streets of Cairo. This exciting programme describes the journey of a national inspirational figure in Belly Dance, embodied with the wonders of Egyptian culture and expressed through the creativity of dance. With influences from the Pharaonic era through to modern day, Belly Dance: A True Story is designed to entertain on many levels.
